Current area rankings

Just for fun before anyone gets butt hurt.
1- Mt Ridge
2- FH

3- Frankfort
4- Allegany
5- Keyser

6- Northern

gaps are warranted I believe. A healthy Allegany can compete and beat anyone above them as long as they don’t get worn out.

Future rankings- using returnee JV and youth league
1- Fort Hill
2- Frankfort
3- Mt Ridge
4- Allegany

does not include transfers and development. But that would typically drop Frankfort and currently elevate Mt Ridge

Allegany County Football

I believe most people on here agree that MR and FH are the two best, and most talented teams in the 1A state playoffs. Many believe on a collision course for the 1A state championship. Just an open reminder to both. On any given Friday night a healthy Allegany team can have either one, or both of you waking up on a Saturday morning asking yourself "what the hell just happened." Stay focused young men. One game at a time. Very proud of the community support of county football. Best of luck to all involved.

Time for Fort Hill to feed the Beast.

It's now time for the 2nd season. Fort Hills path to a state championship must include 1)reduction major penalties. Absolute killers. 2) While it as great to be diversified, and have depth at the skill positions, it's now time to feed Allen, and Willis the ball. They are arguably the 2 best athletes in the county. Time to showcase them. They both need 12-15 touches at the very least, even more if possible. The MR game, and Allegany game, not sure if they had that many touches combined. No more time for experimenting. Feed the Beasts you have. Win or lose throwing your best punch, or 1-2 punch combo. Just one man's opinion.
