Wow that was a complete enilation from the opening kickoff. Not sure what changed in 2 weeks but credit the FH coaching staff and the FH line of scrimmage on both sides.

I thought FH would win but did not see that coming. Maybe this team is starting to peak at the right time. I think they finally found a fullback for one. #20 at halfback looks really comfortable. The backs were getting blocks. #5 doing his thing, now at wildcat.

That's the best 4 quarters I've seen out of this team other than the game at Oakdale.

I want to start out by saying that I apologize for not being as on top of it as I would have liked to be in the past few months. My Mom was sick and passed about just over a week ago. This hampered my ability to participate in the contest several weeks this year, and it forced me to be late on posting the picks each week.

A couple interesting points from the past two weeks of picking...

1.) Everyone who picked high school games in Week #8 all picked those games correctly. That is the first time I can ever remembering that happen
2.) Week #9 is what determined who won, there were a lot of games in high school that were picked incorrectly
3.) Week #8 saw the most amount of people finish with just one loss EVER
4.) The Commanders and WV teams decided who won in the last week of the season

Summer weight lifting is not even mandatory anymore.

No more school hours for football example: weight lifting, film watching etc.

The lack of discipline is because of no authoritarian on staff. Example ( kids not well groomed, attitudes, etc etc)

was told in 4 years you will see the tides have changed as fort hill will no longer be a dominant force.

Linganore’s season, and state title game appearance streak, mercifully comes to an end. Lancers looked like a pee wee team out there compared to Damascus, but honestly, thought they held their own fairly well. Had a few drives deep into Damascus territory in the 1st half but ultimately couldn’t convert and it was their undoing. A few upsets tonight in 3A, including defending state champion Northern losing to St. Charles. If the seeding allows, I think we very well could see an all 3A West state final between Damascus and Frederick.

Also, Boonsboro lost 20-14 to South Carroll. Very surprising score, I thought SC would win this one easily. Much better performance from the Warriors this year as compared to last in this game.
