Some really off-the-chart numbers have started to pop up through this playoff run. Considering FH did not give up a single first down in the second half of the last two games I decided to take a look because it seemed like this was happening every game since they last lost to Briar Woods on October 4.

In the last two games versus Cambridge-SD and Perryville, the Fort Hill defense has given up only 16 yards rushing and 10 first downs in total (none in the second half).

So what exactly has the Fort Hill defense done since they last lost a game to Briar Woods on October 4?

They have given up: 194 yards rushing

In comparison...
The FH offense has: 128 first downs
The FH offense has: 2,628 yards rushing

That's some crazy stats - in 8 games FH has only given up 194 yards rushing. That is 24 yards a game.

Fort Hill has a 1st and goal at the 2 with the game on the line I would have told you thIs one was over and FH puts the nail in the coffin . But Perryville calls a time out and regroups to make a stand. They crushed this young OL on 4 snaps while jumping the snap count to extend their chances. Credit Perryville.

It was eerily similar to the 2011 semifinal against the same team when FH had a 1st and goal at the 4 and didn't get it in. The Sentinels lost FYI.

Defense won this game. FH hasn't given up a second half first down in 2 straight big road games.

Give Perryville some credit. They could ball and had players. Trust me when I say Perryville will be a team to reckon with next year. They were every bit as young as FH.

Shook had a rough game with his play calling.

Boy the weatherman got that one wrong. This morning weather said rain around 9 pm. Nope. It's raining now steady and has been most of the day. Gonna be another wet one just like last week. Windy too.

The 16th annual Queen City Quad to be held August 23, 2025 at Greenway Avenue Stadium would like to welcome for the first time Perry Hall High School out of Baltimore County. Perry Hall is located just north of White Marsh - a place I lived and owned a home for 15 years.

Perry Hall is currently the No. 1 overall seed in the MPSSAA Class 3A/4A playoff bracket and will face Wootten in this third round. Go Gators!

Thanks to some very generous sponsors and donors, we were able to raise the amount needed to do Friday's Fort Hill at Cambridge-South Dorchester game live on our usual HD streaming outlets which include the following platforms:

The game will be live on the destinations listed above. It will be a delay-broadcast on Breezeline cable channel 20/2001 on Saturday, 11/23 at 7 PM.

Commercial Video plans to broadcast Friday night's Fort Hill at Cambridge South Dorchester 1A football playoff game. We can stream it LIVE online, IF we can get more sponsors to cover the MPSSAA $500 live fee, and $300 live remote costs. That $800 is on top of the $750 we are already have to pay MPSSAA. Yes, $1,250 just in MPSSAA fees. If we cannot get enough sponsorship or donations to go live, we will be delay-broadcast the game as usual.

The game will remain delayed on Breezeline Cable channel 20/2001, and will be shown Saturday, November 23 at 7PM since MPSSAA charges $1,500 for a live TV broadcast.
