You can debate it all you want, but the fact remains that Fort Hill's schedule is nothing short of amazing when it comes to playoff points and positioning the Sentinels for "three straight at Greenway" as they make a run for their second consecutive state title.
When it is all said and done, it is likely that Fort Hill will have defeated three 9-1 teams (Chestnut Ridge, Kent Island and Capitol Christian), one 8-2 team (Keyser) and one 7-2 team (Allegany). Throw in Silver Oak which has been no slouch, a 4A opponent (Walter Johnson), a 3A opponent (North Hagerstown), a 2A opponent (Mountain Ridge) and of course the only super dud (winless Southern).
Again, debate it all you want but it actually is a brilliant schedule and follows the formula set last year where Fort Hill did just fine as they gradually got better and better throughout the season until eventually peaking and getting hot down the stretch when it counts.
Holy Freakin Points Batman, Todd and Todd are geniuses.
