Fort Hill 2019 Football Schedule 8 Games so far

Actually FH has played MSJ twice in the last 10 years. How many other MPSSAA schools in any class can make the same claim?

While it was impressive Fort Hill scheduled MSJ, those MSJ teams were two of the worst teams, if not the two worst teams, in MIAA A Conference history. The 2009 team Fort Hill beat was ranked #4820 nationally and #69 in Maryland. They went 0-5 and were outscored 158-20 in MIAA A Conference play. The 2010 MSJ team that beat Fort Hill was ranked #2365 nationally and #37 in Maryland. They also went 0-5 and were outscored 187-54 in MIAA A Conference play.

2018 MSJ went 10-2, 4-1 in MIAA A conference play and were ranked #300 nationally and #11 in Maryland. They will be better this year. CalPreps has them #4 in Maryland and #117 nationally preseason. They are ranked the same as Saint Xavier from Cincinnati. I'm not sure there's a non-Texas/Florida public school that could beat them this year. It wouldn't be a good game for FH to take.

I also remember when the 2 year deal was signed in 2008. Mount St. Joseph was coming off a 7-2 season and was the 15th ranked team in MD (888 nationally). The year before in 2007 they were the 14th ranked team in Maryland. Winning consistently can be difficult in the MIAA. There are obviously good years and down years it seems for most every one because they all RECRUIT. I tried to get FH and Calvert Hall together for this fall (they need a Week 4). CH is coming off one of it's better years - having beaten Wise. Coach Davis told me it was one of the best defenses he ever coached. But Calvert Hall is not always at the top, just some years. It all fluxuates because private schools RECRUIT! You never can tell from year to year how good they might be as kids fly in to just play one season many times. That's the dice roll you take with privates. At places like Fort Hill I can tell you who they have coming back. They all played last year and have been playing together since 6th grade.

MSJ also had a cornerback in 2010 that went to Virginia Tech. I think he made the NFL but can't remember his name. But he didn't play against FH that year because he had a bad knee or ankle. He missed like the first 5 games. Can't remember his name.

You're right. LOL. I always forget about that series. My junior season at FH (1983) we played Mount St. Joe's at the stadium. A bench clearing brawl broke out with about 5 minutes left in the game. The refs called the game, picked up the ball and ran off the field. No one was ejected or had to sit the next week. Ah, the good ole days. You just buckled the chin strap and stormed the field. They also had a kicker who booted like a 52 yard field goal. FH still won the game.
We had a scrimmage with them in 97. I dont remember them being anything special.

It was full-game scrimmage minus live kickoffs if I recall. Starters against starters until late. FH won 63-28 if I recall. The same setup was done with MSJ either the following year or within a few years and MSJ had a two or three score come from behind win.

I liked when they played Mt St. Joe's
I really miss The Martinsburg Rivalry
Most of all I Wish they still played Sherando (Best Away Game Atmosphere)
Team I wish they would play sometime Steubenville Ohio https://bigredathletics.com/

Keyser dropping them is still crazy, No Keyser or Frankfort tells me it's time the Cumberland Youth and Pee Wee League Sports need to form their own league and stop helping these other area's.
Years ago they let Berkeley Springs join the league and then they took off and joined elsewhere.
form a local league with 6-7 Allegany County Teams and let Keyser, Frankfort, Ridgeley & Hampshire play each other. Stop playing these Teams in All Sports at the lower levels, remove them from the pee wee and Youth leagues, Hot Stove League and let them fend for themselves until they give back by agreeing to play Our High Schools.

Yes, how else will it get taken care of? You gotta do what ya gotta do to get the job done. Why help someone else out that will stomp on you as you're hanging off the cliff a few years later?
Cumberland Area Youth Sports don't need the other area's but they will sure need Cumberland in the long run or they can deal with having a 4 Team League playing the same Teams every week and their kids will lose interest and quit. Same as in Politics since Trump has taken over, help the Countries that help us and make it tougher on those that get over on us.

SMH you really can't be serious, advocating harming children? And I wouldn't consider Trump a beacon of light! Lol that explains it.

Yeah, what we need is more of the government telling us what we can and cant do. Just because trump wants to bring politics to sports as much as possible, doesn't mean we should.

Actually, he didn't bring it at all. He reacted to it. Trump also interjected himself into school sports by reversing the previous administration's executive order demanding that boys be allowed to shower with girls after sports - and even use girl's lavatories. Shamefully, many school districts refused to go along with Trump and get the boys out of the girl's locker rooms and lavatories.... Resist! Orange Man Bad!

What sports were you playing in lavatories? The GOP toe tap under the stall?
I did notice trump got out of it this season after he lost the fight and the NFL ratings were back up.
Now it's just Orange Fan Sad.

Wherein did I write that sports were being played in lavatories, or in locker rooms either. Which sport did you play? The one with the soap. I am sure you understood perfectly what I meant.

I am a libertarian so I pretty much dislike all parties. But I just wanted to clarify those things I came to understand from my reading and witnessing of the sporting events.

The kneeling players lost because the media stopped showing them on TV. There's your loss. Not that Trump was solely responsible for all of the lower ratings. Folks didn't like seeing the kneeling... hell, the entire Ravens team took a knee in London and stood for 'God save the Queen' for cripes sake.

I think ratings started a bit of a skid because of how slow the game had become.... the excessive commercials, the constant replays and challenges. Shall I also mention horrendous officiating where they huddle and still blow the call. Believe me, you will never get back the fandom and quality of football with the likes of Howard, Frank and Don.

Now, you could go to YouTube and watch a condensed version of the game, missing nothing important, in about 15 minutes.

That is one reason to like high school sports. The pace of the game is about perfect.

So you are admitting that you changed the subject of politics in sports just so you could deflect from Trumpty Dumbty. You know damn well that's why you brought it up, because there was no other reason to bring it up.

Is it any surprise that someone who thinks sports happen in the bathroom would vote for trump?

You lost because trump was once again made to look foolish and you started watching football again despite trump telling you not too. But as a trump supporter, you have to be used to losing... the wall, North Korea, NFL ratings, debt, trade deficit, increased taxes... all losses.

Trump is sore at the NFL because the owners laughed at him and made sure he wouldnt ruin a team on two occasions. You bankrupt a casino, you obviously cant run a team. So trump spent two years crying about the NFL, which held 75 of the top 100 watched shows in the last year, losing ratings. It backfired as ratings went up again, despite not showing the national anthem.

Shit, I can read about a high school game in the paper and get as much as the people who watched live. Even people here go to one high school game a week, yet watch at least a half dozen NFL games a week.

Obama brought a Nobel prize to the White House. All Benedict Donald brought is an illegal commie porn star with an anchor baby.

So it was only wrong when the black man told you what to do, is what you are saying? Of course it is. Sir mushroom tip can tell us we HAVE to build a wall and hes the next jesus.

Keep crying about how wrong it is for Baltimore to tell Allegany county what it can do, while cheering Allegany county telling what private leagues have to do.

Hypocrisy is a great look for you.

You know damn well that's why you brought it up, - Ugh, no again.

.... you brought it up, because there was no other reason to bring it up. - an abysmal poverty of logic.

Is it any surprise that someone who thinks sports happen in the bathroom would vote for trump? - The only voices saying that are the ones speaking to you in your head.

Trump is sore at the NFL because the owners laughed at him and made sure he wouldnt ruin a team on two occasions. - Those are not the owners speaking to you; it's those voices again... ignore them.

You bankrupt a casino, you obviously cant run a team. - You obviously know zero about restructuring debt. The most successful companies in the world restructure parts and entire subsidiaries of their businesses all the time. Trump never declared personal bankruptcy ever. At least I can admit that a guy who ran for President as his first political office and won, and a guy who previously made billions developing and branding his name, and someone who created and starred in the #1 TV show in the country is a hell of lot smarter than you or I. If you think he is a dumb, how smart are you?

which held 75 of the top 100 watched shows in the last year - That's commercial scripted tv and rose sharply when they stopped showing kneelers.... Get it... they stopped showing the kneelers. They lost. Get it... Nobody sees them on their knees! They lost. Trump won and so did the country.

But as a trump supporter, you have to be used to losing... the wall, North Korea, NFL ratings, debt, trade deficit, increased taxes... all losses. - Ugh, wrong... especially me being a Trump supporter. To be fair: Most people got a tax cut - I got an additional thousand. He kept Hillary out. Canceled the Climate Paris accord. Canceled the Iran ripoff. Canceled the Southeast Asian trade ripoff. Cut regulations. Got two reasonable Supreme Court appointees. Got NK to stop it's long range testing. Worked out a new trade agreement with Canada and Mexico which should be ratified soon. Put tariffs on China. Destroyed ISIS. Got both parties to agree to a new 'second chance' crime bill, reducing the prison population of minorities (reversing the punitive Clinton legislation). Those things I think fairly can be attributed to him. But the bloated budgets and the illegal invasion across our border prevent me from calling myself a Trump supporter.

As I said, if you've paid attention to how the schedules have been for the last 12 years there's no chance the MSJ game gets made anytime in the near future.

A deflection of trumpian proportions.

The old 'I know you are, but what am I.' The pinnacle of mature behavior.

Your disconnect with reality has become complete at this point.

How weak-willed are you when you consider running multiple companies into bankruptcy as being successful. It takes total surrender to propaganda to believe that losing billions of dollars is what ever successful business does.

Trump has never had a successful business ever. They've all failed.

which held 75 of the top 100 watched shows in the last year - That's commercial scripted tv and rose sharply when they stopped showing kneelers.... Get it... they stopped showing the kneelers. They lost. Get it... Nobody sees them on their knees! They lost. Trump won and so did the country.

The ratings started going down before any kneeling occurred. Players still kneel, ratings went up. Only someone accustomed to losing would consider that a win, but trump and his followers are use to failure by now.

Not even close, but keep lying to yourself. NK is still developing nukes, the tariffs are the largest increase in government fees paid by Americans in decades and border crossings have reached record highs under him. Those are his accomplishments.

Obama not only created ISIS - by announcing the pullout date in Iraq... then walking out completely on that date without even a tiny support force - but Obama also shipped pallets of cash to Iran, the #1 terrorist sponsor country in the world.... which could have been avoided had he supported the the last uprising in Iran rather than its Islamic leadership. Trump took the gloves off and whacked the shit out of ISIS.

So then Trump pulls out before destroying ISIS, and gave nuclear technology and arms to Saudi Arabia - you know, the people behind 9/11.
Funny how Reagan shipped pallets of weapons to Iran and he is worshipped.

Saudi government was not behind 9/11. Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Israel pretty much keep a balance of power in the Middle East, complex though it may be. Reagan made his share of mistakes: Illegal Alien amnesty, Marines to die in Beirut and his share of bloated budgets. Funding the Contras was a good idea but how it was handled turned out to be just another DC boondoggle.

Ignorance is so bliss. A simple read of publically available reports by private intelligence firms would contradict your observation.
You mean the same firms that say Russia hacked our election? Why should I believe intelligence firms when Trump doesnt?

Bush started ISIS or whatever you wana call them today.. they'll be something else tm and we will be funding Sunni muslims next week to fight Iran either way tho... the ypg/you were already beating back ISIS(Turkish backed Sunnis) both Obama and trump knew the faster you kill ISIS the faster both Iraq and Syria would want the us troops gone... but beat the hell outa ISIS your just silly

Not really just change the name from Kurdish ypg/j to sdf and recruit arabs... and I'm sure he didnt even come up with that, I'm sure military officials did... but he did save and supply weapons to a pkk offshoot which is labeled terrorist tho..lamo... all the while CIA backs al Qaeda rebel forces in Syria to overthrow the Syrian government but both Sunni terrorists org we support wanna fight each other tho and not Assad... that's on all of the last 2 dickweeds not one or another...
