I have seen ppl post especially Brian that Allegany has nothing coming up. They have some good 6 graders, playing on Hunters A team. The entire line is around 145 pounds and these kids aren’t fat, they are actually backs and ends just too heavy to run the ball under league rules. One kid had to move up to the Warriors he is 170 pounds and not fat.

Lol. This is the funniest thing I have seen on here in months. “The Hunters line”. Half of those kids won’t even be playing varsity football in 5 years. Do u know how many pee wee superstars I’ve seen in my lifetime. Only a few maintain their dominance. Early developed kids mainly fizzle out, late developing kids (kids that don’t even play football at the pee wee level) will show up big. I’m just saying don’t be planning Alcos 2024 starting lineup just yet based on the pee wees

They are 6 graders, usually ppl on here are talking about what’s coming up next couple years

I enjoy reading about what kids are doing good in all youth league sports around our community.

My statements about Alco beig in a tough spot numbers wise is only based on the low numbers there already compounded with the Braddock pipeline about to come through. Watching the Warriors and their 13 kids struggle to compete and even field a team has been brutally hard these last few years. They have been really really bad.

Youth league is different. Typically, if a kid is going to be relevant at the varsity level, he should be playing football by the 7th or 8th grade. However, pee wee football doesn’t scratch the surface on any indication of a future talent. There’s this thing called puberty. Pre pubescent kids playing sports reveal nothing in terms of a future stud.
