Temperatures for Friday FH/Southern kickoff currently showing 30 degrees. Low of 16 degrees. Not much different for Alco/Boonsboro game either. Get the parkas out.

Wonder if the FH band has been practicing their yearly winter songs like "Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow"?

I wonder how much chaos the rain played on practices yesterday, and possibly today. I guess yesterday's practices were in the gym. With all the rain, can either team even get on their practice fields today? Using Greenway (the turf) may not be an option today with soccer games being played there starting at 5:00.

If there is a week of "practice disruption" this is the week to have it. I believe both Fort Hill and Allegany have glorified scrimmages this week.

In theory, one might worry that those Garrett County boys coming down off the Mountain would see that cold weather as a huge advantage for the Southern Rams. Then my mind drifts back to 2011 when Fort Hill went to Frostburg to face a very tough Mountain Ridge team in the snow and proceeded to blow them out 41-0. That was the infamous "Our Ridge Tops Your Hill" game.
