How does it feel to know you will be playing for the state title?
“It is
an awesome feeling actually. My brother almost got here a few times but it is a
great opportunity.”
What do you know about Franklin?
“I haven't
watched too much yet but my dad said they have a bunch of Division I ids. It is
intimidating but it is nice to know that we are on the same level as them. We
definitely have a chance against them.”
Who stands out from their
players?
“I know that one of their linemen is going to Georgia. We have gone
up against a kid last week going to Florida State and another going to Maryland
before that. I am definitely for another challenge this week.”
What are
the keys to victory in this game?
“Our advantage is probably speed because
they are big. We are playing on turf so we need to use our speed to our
advantage.”
What colleges have you been hearing from?
“Maryland has
been talking to me a little bit. They want me to gain some weight and get
bigger, faster, and stronger.”
What other schools are in the picture?
“It has been Boston College, Rutgers, South Carolina, and I went to a Pitt game.
We also went to Old Dominion to watch a practice.”
Do you have any more
visits?
“Not right now. I usually play basketball and I might not play this
year so I can look at more colleges.”
Did you have a favorite growing up?
“My dad grew up in Michigan and went to Michigan State so I have always been
into Michigan State.”
