Former Fort Hill RB Mike O'Kelly passed away today. For those who dont remember Mike was paralyzed in a car wreck the summer before his senior year in 2008.

No need for personal details...just remember him fondly. And keep his friends and family in your prayers.

Very sad news indeed. Brings to mind the great thing that Frederick Douglass (PG) did for Mike. Presented him with an autographed ball and FD jersey with his name and number. Very classy thing they did. Prayers to his family!

Thanx hamspear, Mike was a good kid. I got to coach him when he played youth football. Great kid to coach, did everything you asked him to do. Always helped others. Really great just being apart of his life. Never talked badly of others. He was truly a team player. Good luck to Sherando in the playoffs hope they bring one home!
