What stood out to us over the weekend

Damascus
19, Quince Orchard 11
Battling an elite Class 4A foe and knocking them off
with a stellar defensive effort shows that Damascus may be in the running for
the 3A crown.

Huntington 32, Calvert 0
Is anyone going to score on
them? Three games and three shutouts in the books.

River Hill 42,
Atholton 0
The dominance continues. After beating Glenelg in the opener,
River Hill has won their last two games by a score of 83-6.

Northwest
46, Seneca Valley 6
The loss is not the surprised. Just how lopsided it was
is.

Milford Mill Academy 48, New Town 12
Their offense never gets
attention but it has been one of the most potent in all of Maryland this fall.

Potomac 43, Friendly 16
After going 5-5 a year ago, a talented group
at Potomac has nearly matched their win total for 2014.
