Anyone heard from geno60.....Bridgeport is rolling keyser

Little Gino is gonna say. Keyser has only given up 21 points to Bridgeport in the first quarter.

Bridgeport 28 Keyser nothing in the 4th.
Bridgeport barely beat a Morgantown team 17-14 that FH beat 49-23

Is Keyser really that bad?

Note to Bridgeport - don't be surprised when Keyser drops you.

Don’t compare scores this late in season. Have always thought Bridgeport/Fort Hill would always be a great game but they never play. Both are very similar in many ways, great coaching, discipline, run the same system from pee wee through high school, great fan bases and same colors. Fort Hill may win more than they lose but they will definitely know they are in battle year after year.

I thought the same thing

He’s a fair weather fan, His balloon was busted. But like i said he will surface next week when they play Ridge, and will show his true self when they play Frankfort and maybe a little the first week of playoffs, then comes either Fairmont or Bluefield , then he we be gone with the wind again. Because his beloved tornado will be smacked down once again

Bridgeport is always a well coached, disciplined and physical team. They may start the year off and appear weak but as the year progresses they almost always improve.

They are always solid up front on both sides of the ball, they block and tackle well, commit few penalties and play hard from snap to whistle. They will run the ball and be content with 4-5yard gains for 8-9 minute drives series after series.

From a coaching standpoint their scheme on offense is simple. Three back sets, with one to three lead blockers on every play, they only pass when they see a great opportunity or to catch the defense off guard when they have lulled them asleep with 4-5 yard runs.

Much the same on defense. A 4-3 with the LB's feet set on the heels of the defensive line, a secondary that supports the run very well but also reads their keys and can cover the pass effectively. They are fast to the ball and rarely miss tackles.

Although their schemes may be different it sounds much like Fort Hill doesn't it? I think this year FH may be a bit better but when Bridgeport had a run of great teams in the mid 2010's we would have seen some great games. Could be something to look at in the future.

We have missed out on so many good games. Middletown had a great run during that same period. I always wanted to see Fort Hill play them too
