As Boyz points out, like basketball, Alco is the best of the worst. Maybe they can get out of the West this year.

It comes down to having 2 strong pitchers 3 good pitchers, Alco hasn't had the depth at pitching. Playoff time playing games in a short period without rest they get beat because depth of pitching. In the past they could beat anyone in 1A with their #1 throwing, it takes a very good pitcher at #2 and #3.

FH used that argument for years in football. I believe Alco fans called it "an excuse".
