Will BW ever bring back their football program?

I thought they would fold for a few yrs. due to numbers but I thought they would be back.. They could still compete with the likes of Hancock lol Seriously will the Spartans ever make a comeback?

Not a chance, unfortunately. As the local economy continues to dip, overall enrollment in all schools will continue to fall as well. They just don't have the numbers to field a team.

This is a very sad state of the leadership in Allegany County. The future of anyplace is the next generation.
Remember the days of the John Alkire BW that was an actual threat. They had some big wins over FH and Allegany, and they could pack Greenway for those city games. Those city games meant something and they were memorable.
Maybe it's time to drain the swamp in Cumberland???
