Weather?

Historically, FH would have the advantage. FD will be looking to strip the ball. FH is better conditioned for a grounds pound game but the backs better secure it.

If #34 holds onto the ball, I see him being this year's MVP - just due to the nature of how the Ducks are probably preparing their defense to stop Johnson and Barnes (who ate them up last year).

It may rain all day Saturday, but at least we can take our umbrellas to the game.

I emailed MPSSAA to double check, but M&T Bank policy is as follows.

Admission Policy
All gates open 2 hours prior to kickoff. Due to heightened security measures at the gates, we strongly urge all guests to arrive at the stadium as early as possible to avoid entrance delays, particularly in colder weather. Re-entry into M&T Bank Stadium is not permitted. If medication is required, be sure to have it with you upon entry. All guests entering the stadium are subject to search. Refusal to comply may be grounds to prohibit admission. Guest will not be permitted to enter the stadium if they are visibly intoxicated.

I called the stadium. They said they are relaxing the NFL rules for the High School games tomorrow and will allow umbrellas. This is due to the fact it is supposed to be a 100 % chance of rain tomorrow. If you don't believe me, and would like to check for yourselves, here is the number, feel free to call them. Click option 3 to get a live person right away.

Note; I just got off the phone with them, and they will be there until 5pm. today,so call away and check if you'd like.

Re: Umbrellas are permitted

Yes that is correct. M&T says umbrellas will be permitted in the stadium.

Most recent Baltimore forecast for kickoff:
49 degrees, 72% chance of rain

Everywhere seems to be sold out of ponchos. Was told by 3 stores that Frankfort fans bought them all out. The only place I found them was at Martin's Market. Harbor Freight has yellow ones.

Thanks for confirming what I posted. I wouldn't have posted that unless it were true. I am covered pretty good, poncho, clear plastic, and now an umbrella. I found whole foot warmers at Wal-Mat, 2 for $1.97.....Can't beat that, a warm foot from heel to toe.

I'm a proponent of the old adage "trust but verify."

Just because you read it on the Internet doesn't always make it true.

The person I talked to on the phone, said if you had called yesterday, you would have been told no umbrellas. She said they just decided this morning. One thing about me, I am a detail type person, I always call ahead for any and all information, no matter how it was last year, things change all the time.

Oh, for the record, I didn't read it online, you did,

Correct, which is why I verified. I'm a detail person as well. ;)
