With Southern beating Clear Spring Monday evening, in a nutshell...

if Clear Spring beats Berkeley Springs next Friday - Southern makes the playoffs
if Clear Spring loses to Berkeley Springs next Friday - Mountain Ridge makes the playoffs
But at least one of these two teams is getting in.

***this takes into account some very safe assumptions with other games.

If Mountain Ridge can beat Keyser - they are in.
If Southern can beat Northern - they are in.
So each team absolutely controls it's own destiny. Lose and you have to root for other teams to get you in.

We have lost too much due to injuries this year. I think it would be a miracle if we can hang with Keyser, despite their lackluster performance this past week, we just don't have the horses at this point. With that being said, it would be nice for these boys to get the reward of at least one more game, for playing out each and every game to the final whistle.

Beating Keyser at Tornado Alley would be a super sized order.

I would also add that Alco controls it's own playoff destiny. Beat FH and the Campers are in.

I really dont think Keyser had a lack luster performance. Bridgeport lined up in the pro I, 2 tight ends and ran it right down there throat in the first half. The ridge has put some good games together but like you said just a little short at the final whistle . Mt Ridge can keep it close if they come to play and want to play

A nice mid range passing game is worth a shot against the Keyser secondary. But you also have to stop them off tackle on defense. It's a tall challenge.

I believe another scenario for Ridge is if University can pull off a win against Morgantown. Of course this is all hinged on the rest of the favorites winning their respective games.

Morgantown has already played 9 games. The University game does not count for Maryland teams in the point totals.

I’m just saying Keyser is not the team this year that most think they are. The schedule was soft, and they lost basically to a down year Bridgeport team. Which on a up year , might of put 40 on them. They will beat down Frankfort next week, maybe a cake walk in first round off playoffs. Then comes the big Boys and they are out once again bounced out in 2nd or 3rd round.
