Season tickets/playoffs

I haven’t heard anyone say Catoctin’s stadium is horrible, just limited on its capacities. It is important for fans to know this prior. I travel with someone who would not be able to sit or stand on a bank so we will need to be prepared and make a good time of it.

Get there real early and bring a chair to sit on in line while you wait for the ticket sales to begin.

What you do for FH is above and beyond, and I'm not in any way criticizing your efforts. I'm way more interested in finding long term solutions to having to schedule an ECP at the last minute just to have 9 games.
I have another idea. Let's just not put a running clock on every team, blow people out, keep starters in late in the 4th quarter. When we get a big lead start working on the passing game....that will guarantee some quick three and outs and at least let the other team feel like they are in a game and not a beating. The other thing is when there is a running clock the game is over so quickly that all the subs get very little playing time so the little hope they have of playing at all is gone in minutes along with the experience you need to return to next years team.
FH has made it's scheduling woes themselves, you can't blame teams, even good ones, like Keyser, for dropping them when you embarrass them. I've heard the arguments about if you don't want slaughtered get better".
Now we're going to hear all week about what horrible conditions and facilities Catoctin has and how it's all the MPSSAA's fault and FH fans shouldn't have to fight for parking or seats and it's not like that at Greenway and to those people I say "get more points and be the second seed and you wouldn't have anything to complain about"!

You are advocating scheduling for the playoffs. Yes, that is what everyone does. That is why 8 or 9 games are blow outs. That is why FH plays Silver Oak, MATHS, Capital Christian, Carrick, USO, Green Street, etc. I'm glad you are good with it. The formula worked for FH getting home field and ultimately rings. Although if FH would have had to travel at some point since 2013 I don't believe the ring total would have changed.

But the playoffs have changed. If anyone is going to complain that FH has to go on the road for a playoff game for the first time since 2010 because they played a really good opponent, I'm not going to agree with that philosophy in the least. I have defended it in the past, but not with this new system.

IMPORTANT: Letting people know about parking and seating limits at Catoctin is very necessary. My mother cannot sit on the hill. If I have to let those type of people know what they are getting into then too bad for those that may be offended. Playing a worse schedule to make sure FH doesn't have to go there mentality isn't what sports should be about. But whatever works for you. Like I said, can Catoctin find a way to not play Walkersville. Is that the world we seek?

You are absolutely right about letting folks know. It's high school football after all. They should expect a field no where near the standard of Greenway. Geez. Mountain ridge is a luxury. Northern is above average.
