Wake up Lowndes County. It's Game day!Lowndes Football begins its campaign for the new football season tonight at the spring football scrimmage day. First year Head Coach, Adam Carter, leads our Vikings into a new era of exciting football.
Today's scrimmage activities begin at 4pm. Here's what the schedule looks like.
1. Our three middle schools will scrimmage at 4:00 pm
2. 9th grade (upcoming) will scrimmage at 5:00 pm
3. Varsity (upcoming) will scrimmage at 6:00 pm. The state champion baseball team will be recognized before the beginning of the varsity scrimmage.
Admission to today's scrimmage activities will be $5 per person for all contests. Only the home side will be open and all fans will need to come to the north end home gates to purchase tickets and enter the stadium. Gates will open at 3:00 pm and tickets will go on sale then. The north end home concession stand will be open for all scrimmages. All seating is general admission on the home side.
Head Coach makes $145.000 a year. All he does is coach. Has 19 assistants.
