TwoTodds (Helmick and Appel) were informed today via telegraph by Delmer Delawder, Paw Paw Athletic Director, that the Mighty Pirates have agreed to make the trip up Route 51 North to play the Fort Hill Freshman at Little Homecoming. According to an inside source, Paw Paw Coach Tim Refosco, Allegany Coaching Legend Jim Refosco's lesser known half-brother, saw this as a golden opportunity for he and every Delawder in Paw Paw to at the very least score some discount tickets to the Red Huddle's All You Can Eat Shrimp Feed, to be held at the Cumberland Outdoor Club on October 1st. A source within the Fort Hill Telegraph Office, located in a closet in a classroom on the 3rd floor, snapped a cell phone pic of the actual Telegraph and has provided a copy to us to share with you. It reads:
Heard Allegany dropped Freshman Football (Stop).....We, the Paw Paw Pirates, reigning WV Class 1/2 A State Champions a million times over, agree to replace the Allegany Freshman Team at Little Homecoming (Stop).....Here are our demands (Stop).....Gas money (Stop).....A Guided Tour of South Cumberland in Dave Christopher's "Fort Hill Van" (Stop).....A Pickup Truck Load of that Sweet Stadium Pizza (Stop).....Coolers Full of Helmick's Western Maryland "Paw Paw" Flavored Lemonade to wash the Pizza down with (Stop).....Discounted Tickets to the Red Huddle's Shrimp Feed and Bonfire at the ODC (Stop)......oh yeah, and some of that Mac Salad, we can't wait until October 1st for the Mac Salad (Stop)......Maybe after you see what we do to your Freshman, you'll man up and play our Varsity Team (Stop).....Oh, and one more thing, a Ty Johnson #6 Maryland Jersey with "Delawder" on the back (Stop)
This will represent Paw Paw's first Trip to Greenway since their much touted victory over the now defunct "Fort Hill Football Mother's Club" a few years ago.
