I can't understand why Maryland isn't banging down Oakdale's QB door? The kid has everything you would want in a QB. He can already throw further than some NFL QBs and is fast. I wonder if the gentleman from Williamsport would still argue that the Williamsport QB is easily the best QB in Washington and Frederick Counties. Not taking anything away from the Williamsport QB because I'm sure he is good but he is not the once in a lifetime type QB talent that Oakdale had this year.

Perhaps new Coach may reach out though late in the game. However in college football a verbal means nothing. Until LOI is signed coaches keep at it. Apparently new Coach will be hired this wk for Terps. Locksley leading candidate.

I’ve seen some film on the kid but watched the state title game live to see him play. He’s a D1 kid in my book and another example of how letting in state recruits leave has hurt UMD. Here’s to hoping Locks and his in state connects will make something happen

As a UMD alum and season ticket holder, I wouldn't mind seeing Schlee as a Terp! At least I wouldn't have to watch him pick apart my team again, LOL. I could see Locksley going after him late in the game but I'd be scared to be a QB at UMD, our track record at that position over the past decade has been less than stellar.

Agree 100%. They need to orchestrate a new offensive scheme and recruit towards that system. He has sneaky athleticism so I think with a few years he could adapt

Yep.....I'm thinking if Locksley was hired the first time around, he may not have flipped and things could be very different in College Park right now.
