Mountain Ridge vs Forest Park

Forest Park scores against opponents aren’t too bad. For example they lost to Patterson 14-12. Patterson lost to Dunbar in Overtime. It could be closer than most think. Also, Forest Park didn’t score many points against some bad teams, it could be match ups.

Do you think weather may play a factor in this game? Temperatures are supposed to be around 30 degrees at kickoff. Throw in the factor that this is apparently Forest Parks first night game of the season. I am not very familiar with Forest Park, so I am going with a "Homer" pick.

This Forest Park Team Has No Clue, Joppatowne looks just as bad. How can football be this bad?

Easy. When the best team in the class is forced to play up, so everyone can feel good about themselves, this is what u get.

Gwynn Park, a team that Oakdale beat 47-0, beat Dunbar tonight 60-50.

FH beat Oakdale 47-7. Oakdale beat Gwynn Park the week after the FH game.
I think you may have gotten an incorrect score. I saw the final as 64 to 6 Dunbar

Mountain Ridge defense only gave up one touchdown. Forest Park scored a touchdown on a Kickoff and the other on a pick 6. I am sure Coach Patterson is not very happy about that this evening.

It was definitely 64 to 6 Dunbar. Just spoke to a parent of a young man on the team. She confirmed the 64 to 6 score, Poets.

I just don't understand it. You blitz on almost every down. Yeah it gets you one of your touchdowns on the evening. But it also cost you hundreds of yards.

Not to mention the penalties for offsides.

You have some athletes on the team. Why not try and play coverage against a team that wants to throw short passes?

I'm not sure how much football either one of these teams played last year. Most school systems in Metro Baltimore played very few games if any since the 2019 season.

Even though they have close to a full season this year. I am sure this has a big impact on them.

Dunbar is real good, FH is real good, Mountain Ridge is good. FH and Dunbar are both undefeated with good teams and they aren’t going play each other. They can both have good seasons

Forest Park had 6 total fumbles. They only lost 2. But wow... 6. They also had an INT.

In a playoff game.

I hate to say it but Dunbar is just a different real good. Fort Hill would hang with them but Dunbar has our number. They would stack the line, force the pass, and we just don't prepare for that kind of game. You can only play the hand that is dealt you and as much as people want to say it's watered down there is nothing FH can do about that except go out and take care of business.
