Crazy stat: the last time Alco won Homecoming, most of their current players were not born yet.

I havent seen much out of alco that says they can stop FH and FH has the outside speed to stop the sweeps. Northern beats alco if they could tackle on the perimeter

The Alco running game looks very good. The big question is will they be able to run against Fort Hill. I was surprised to see them complete a few passes in their last game.. Fort Hill is clicking on all cylinders. FH. 48-14
Alco is literally what everyone thought FH was going to this year. Can’t / won’t throw, terrible pass defense, has lost games they shouldn’t have lost.
I think Allegany will take chances and play as if they have nothing to lose. For example, going for it on fourth down rather than punt. They obviously can not commit penalties or turn the ball over.
FH can stop the run. Alco can't pass.

For all we've heard about Alco's vaunted, potent running attack doesn't seem like anybody thinks they can run against FH. If it only counts when they play Southern, Northern, or Keyser then it can't really be that great. None of those teams have a defense even remotely similar to FH.
Plus, FH has a way better running game with way better backs and overall speed.
I applaud your optimism. Hansel has shown us who he is and against quality teams it's not much. They win the games they should for the most part but that shouldn't be the bar for Alco. I hope it isn't a blowout, competition makes everybody better.
Only chance for Alco is to control the ball and not give it back to FH..long drives and needing to score and keep FH off the field

I don’t like flags either, FH is very undisciplined. They should have been called for multiple unsportsmanlike, their receivers are even mouthing off on incomplete passes lol.
100% agree and the same player was flagged for yet another unsportsmanlike after his TD run.
The aforementioned player is a great player but I’ve seen him pouting more on the sideline than I’ve seen him on the field actually running hard.
C'mon. They have been extremely disciplined for the latter part of the season. A little bit of angst is to be expected given the circumstances. Not saying it's right, just understandable.

Everytime FH plays there are complaints about the officials, seems to be a common theme is it all refs that do FH games are terrible or …….?

Penalties happen in every game and the offsides, motions, and false starts should always be called but the judgement calls like peel back blocks always seem to go against FH. I’m not sure how the crack back could even be seen when #2 cut back across the field in the middle of 8 different players. Hell I watched FH complete a 30 yard pass before the half and spike the ball with out the chains being set and the referee set the ball and let the spike happen. That’s terrible reffing in my opinion. I don’t think the chains were even set for the field goal attempt.
What an odd score for FH. Reminiscent of games many moons ago. Wish I could see what's happening.
10 first half offensive points from a team that takes players from all areas counties, districts, even states against a weak team full of underclassmen is not impressive. Yes, kids should be able to goto school where they want, but there are rules to be legally in the Maryland playoffs

Great game, FH! I caught the second half. FH's defense looked unstoppable. Of course, they played great on offense, too! It's going to be an interesting playoff run. Especially, now that their record is only 1-8.
