Paw Paw Athletic Director Delmer Delawder has announced that Paw Paw has been voted into the MIAA Fooball Conference, replacing St. Frances. It was a close vote, with many MIAA member schools claiming that Paw Paw's recruiting practices were akin to St. Frances. Delmer Delawder was able to counter with proof that while in fact Paw Paw had been amassing players from all over the country to fill the Pirate's Roster, every single one of the recruits traced lineage to the Paw Paw Delawder's, so really the recruits were just coming back home where they belonged. Also, the same MIAA member schools who had concerns over their players getting hurt by College-ready St. Frances Players from the 7th ranked team in the country, reluctantly agreed that they weren't quite as scared of Paw Paw's potent roster because the Pirates are currently only ranked 11th in the country.

In other news, Paw Paw Head Coach Tim Refoco (Jim's lesser known half-brother), announces that the Pirates have performed admirably in two preseason scrimmages thus far. Paw Paw defeated Frostburg State University's JV squad 6-2 and a combined Eye on Romney/Eye on Keyser/Cumberland on Patrol Facebook Warriors Squad 11-4.
