Q&A with St. Mary’s Ryken offensive lineman Christian Levy
How did the high school football season go overall?
“Overall, my junior year was an experience that I’ll always remember. I learned valuable life lessons. I learned how to fight through adversity on a personal level, and team level. I was also able to bond with teammates, coaches, and athletic trainers.”
What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“I’ve currently been working out since the season ended and working out 5-6 days a week. I have also been participating in football off-season workouts. In the spring, I plan on doing shot-put.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“Our team next year will be stronger than before. We will go over the standard and chase greatness. Next year is going to be special.”
What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“A very tough WCAC matchup for us will be Our Lady of Good Counsel. Good Counsel is a team we face up against every year. They always have a well-rounded team, and come to play. That past couple of years we have always ended the game in a tough loss, but this year we are looking to change that.”
Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“There are many tough players we will have to face this year, but one group would probably be the Good Counsel defense. They have a good d-line group up front, with also a physical secondary.”
