Just an idea...

I know that a lot would have to change with how MD begins practice and etc but would it benefit schools to have 11 weeks to play 10 games. I ask because with the situation that Allegany, Mountain Ridge and Fort Hill are in as far as putting a schedule together, it could give them more flexibility when it comes to that. I would think that having a week off would help the players as well. It would also be a benefit to coaches as far as in season adjustments and scouting teams.

I also know that many of you on here are very close to your school's programs and the inner working of them. What do you think? Would this be a good idea or no?

That's part of it. The other part is the idea came from a Western MD'er (or an ex-one.) The key is to find a way it would benefit a Baltimore school and frame it that way.
