I’ve got to go with my heart. Fort hill has to be even or win the turnover game
Fort Hill 14 to 7
Fort Hill 14 to 7
Oakdale's line play and turnovers won them the game last week against Linganore. Linganore ran the ball down their throats in the first half while the second half was complete domination by Oakdale, to the tune of 19 total offensive plays and 0 first downs in the half for Linganore. Both lines completely wore down Linganore in the 2nd half. I only watched the game on the NFHS network and that was the first Linganore game I had seen this year, but from what I have heard, Linganore's line play hasn't been stellar this year so I expect Fort Hill to be able to handle Oakdale better than my Lancers. Will that translate to a win, I guess we will find out!I don’t think FH will see the speed or line play that they saw against Old Mill. We will find out tomorrow night.

Unfortunately, FH will be overpowered by substitution and broken as the game goes on. I see this game being 35-10 for Oakdale. I really hope I'm wrong, but it's one of those gut feelings.FH offensive line play has been weak to my eyes so far, but i’m hoping they progress like they usually do
If Fort Hill's line play isn't up to par, I think they will struggle, especially as the game goes on, much like what happened to Linganore. This is a much different type of Oakdale team than the one you saw last year. Last year they just wanted to sling it around, this year they rely heavily on the legs of their QB. He is the 5th leading rusher in Frederick County up to this point and he burned Linganore several times last week with his feet. But, if Fort Hill can contain him and force him to throw, I think they have a good shot. Good luck tonight and safe travels. As a Linganore person, I will be pulling for the Sentinels because well....I'm bitter 😂FH offensive line play has been weak to my eyes so far, but i’m hoping they progress like they usually do
I was at that game. I sat with some really cool Sherando fans. That was one of the best times I’ve ever had at the football game. Fort hill came out throwing in the second half and opened up the running gameI'm thinking it goes something like the 2015 FH - Sherando game. Oakdale up at half but FH comes back to win in the second half......by a touchdown.
Is Oakdale really that good, or that big. I know that FH will struggle with teams that have good size, but I think that with their speed, and athleticism that they can hang with anyone. I could see a loss here too, but keeping it a close game. BTW I hope your wrong also. lolUnfortunately, FH will be overpowered by substitution and broken as the game goes on. I do appreciate your honesty, bitterness is a great motivator to root for or against another team. I was wondering if that was coming soon, it just seemed the offense ran quicker, and smoother with #15 at QB. Hopefully it benefits all. My guess Alkire has been struggling with this decision since the pre-season scrimmages. In my opinion this is not so much a result of poor play by #9, but more so a result of the very good and efficient play of #15. Good Luck all.Burns will start at QB. Alkire: "It’s the best week of practice we’ve had this year.”
Limiting Austin key for Fort Hill at Oakdale
IJAMSVILLE, Md. — The game plan for Fort Hill is simple: limit Oakdale quarterback Evan Austin. The problem? The Sentinels would be the first team to do so.www.times-news.com
