When it comes to schedule making if one were to play a game against an opponent at another school's field does it cost anything for both teams involved to have that field for that game?

It depends on the field and who owns it. Colleges such as Towson, Westminster, Morgan State, etc. do charge a fee. Can be anywhere from $4000 to $7000 for a game. If it's a night game and stadium lights are involved the price is higher. If two teams wanted to play at Greenway Avenue like the Western Maryland Stags do, yes there are fees...but not too expensive. The costs are mostly for personnel that has to be there like the head custodians who run the place and clean it. The use of water and electric gets figured in. Community fields however are just that. Like the place Alco and FH played Silver Oak at last season. Those are usually free. The issue is that the community uses it and there can be 10 different teams trying to schedule events there. They get booked well in advance sometimes. Again it depends on the field.

I figured that there had to be some type of charge involved. With all these tournaments and challenges in College Basketball I was just thinking how cool it would be to see one weekend of games between Allegany, Fort Hill, and Mountain Ridge against teams from the Baltimore Metro area somewhere in the middle each year. Northern and Southern could join if they so wish.
