That style won't work well against us.I watched Patterson Mill versus Perryville. Patterson ran a very similar offense to Fort Hill. They used the Maryland I much of the game. I was impressed how physical they are.
It would be odd if it was considering CSD was further and they chose Friday night for that.Date and time Zack's choosing?
Exactly the reason I asked. It would be odd if it was considering CSD was further and they chose Friday night for that.
Great post. We should all be thankful for high school sports! Also those types of situations often help players learn great life lessons through small doses of adversity. With all due respect to posters, be grateful FH is in the playoffs.
One week later and things could have been much different.
Teams travel to FH during the playoffs all the time.
Other county sports’ teams often times leave at 6 or 7 in the morning for a regional and/or state championship game/match/meet that is 2-3 hours away.
FH will be fine even if they have to leave early in the morning.
As a FH grad and fan, I have noticed over the last several years an enemy of those of us who live in this area is often times a “victim mentality.”
Instead, let’s be grateful!
I look at it the other way. All great athletes and teams can manufacture a chip on their shoulder through the smallest thing. Travel time and time of kickoff may be bitched about here and looked at as “victim mentality” but is looked at as fuel to the fire by the teams and athletesWith all due respect to posters, be grateful FH is in the playoffs.

The day and time was worked out between Allegany County and Cecil County athletic directors with each coaches wishes on the table. I got that the original time was set for 12 noon Saturday and got pushed back to 1:00. I believe FH probably wanted a Friday game - not positive.Date and time Zack's choosing?
They got the stop, but can they establish offensive momentum? If and it’s a big if but if FH gets an opening stop coming out if half then I like their chances
FH hasn't went to states the same day in this run from 2013 to present. They always go the night before. Not sure about in the past.FH looked exhausted, uninspired, and they were out coached from the first snap and somehow managed to win despite all of that. The 3 roads trips looked like it finally caught up to them and the 7:30 bus trip this morning seemed like the final nail in the coffin. Hopefully Zach takes the team down Friday night for state so they don’t again have to make a 4 hour trip and play a game straight of the bus.
the coaches made great 2nd half defensive adjustments by dropping into a zone and making their QB a pocket passer. The defensive edges did a great job staying in their lanes and forcing the QB to step up right into a bull rushing Willison. They held perryville to zero first downs and I would guess under 20 yards total in the second half.
Offense just couldn’t get out of its own way. Credit to perryville for that. I’ve never seen a team sit in a 5-3-2 and be able to stop FH the way they did. The play calls remained clueless. Jabril should’ve had 30 carries over the left side that second half and I think he had 4. The play that summed up the offense was when cassle turned the wrong way and ran into jabril and all jabril could do was stare at the sideline and throw his hands up.
One more bus trip and everyone can sleep and rest as much as they want. On to northern
