Most here know but for those who do not:
*** USO stands for University Prep / Science & Technology Academy / Obama Academy. This is a sports program that has students attending all three different schools, but combining to form one athletic team due to the small size of each school. USO also goes by the name of University Prep, which is the host school for athletics out of all three.

What size school are they in PA?

They are Class AAA in PA. They will be either 1A or 2A in Maryland. That was hard to ascertain. If you add up the enrollment of all 3 schools that comprise USO they are easily a big 2A school. But the PIAA doesn't figure their number this way. They use another kind of formula I didn't understand or care to research.

This link doesn't list Pittsburgh Science and Technology Academy in football. USO is combination of 3 schools. In Maryland, classification is based on total enrollment - males and females included in grades 9-11. If a school like Mount St. Joseph is all male then the MPSSAA just doubles their enrollment to figure out their classification points. In PA, they only use male enrollment for football grades 9-11. So you would have to double that amount for MPSSAA classification. These are the exact numbers if this was a MPSSAA school:

University Prep - 372 students / 195 males
Science & Technology Academy - 281 students / 165 males
Obama Academy - 441 students / 162 males

TOTALS: 1094 students / 522 males

In Maryland that is a 3A Classification. But the MPSSAA is never going to do things correctly.

Yet another reason why I like how the WVSSAC does things in West Virginia. They come up with a list of all the out of state teams that play WV schools and what classification they would fall under if in WV.

I see where some Pittsburgh schools are moving Saturday games to Friday due to Hurricane Harvey. Might be heavy rains on Saturday in Pburgh. Any word if the FH game is still on Saturday?

It's going to start raining Friday in the afternoon.
