Linganore vs. #1 Franklin
On Linganore: A dominating second half that
included scoring 22-points in the fourth quarter helped Linganore make a
shocking run past River Hill into the championship game. That momentum is
something the Lancers are looking to continue. Clark Stieren, Josh
Gontarek, and Phillip Butler have all been a huge part of their success.
This trio will be asked to continue leading the charge with a title hanging in
the balance.
Linganore MVP: Josh Gontarek
On Franklin: An
extremely young group at Franklin may have been concerned early on with their
2-2 start but those struggles have only fueled the fire during their nine game
win streak. The Indians have been dominating in the postseason with
Jacquez Adams, Steven Smothers, Jordan Adams, and a strong offensive line
posting jaw dropping offensive numbers. Their defense has only given up
more than 20 points once in 2013.
Franklin MVP: Jacquez Adams
Prediction: Franklin 30, Linganore 21
Why: The firepower that Franklin has
shown during the entire playoffs is what they feel can help them dominate even
with the title on the line.
Conference in Prediction: Medium
