This link has all turf fields in MD listed and I didn’t see their field. I believe it’s called Viking Stadium in Dorchester

CSD and colonial Richardson could be a good game to watch tonight. CR runs a triple option- true wing t offense so we will get to see how CSD handles the FH offense type. CSD is led by a ton of upper classmen and has a good sized line. They average about 220 according to max preps roster with skill players that look good on film

I think you will see FH come out wanting this game! Fired up and put a score of 34-14
They are loaded with upperclassmen on the lines and skill positions so they will definitely remember last year and know what to expect from a FH team. Knowing what to expect and actually playing the game are 2 very different things but I just have a feeling that if FH is going to lose a playoff game over the next few years it’ll be Friday. CSD has good size on the line averaging about 220 and skill players look decent on film. They run a pistol offense with a ton of option stuff. Good QB so they are pretty comfortable throwing.
I need to try to find highlights on the CSD VS CR game because CR runs a similar offense to FH so that’ll be very telling on a possible outcome.
Everyone seen what FH looked like on grass last week and can remember what FH looked like on a cold night in catoctin all those years ago so the grass field is a huge key to the game. If it rains which it’s calling for rain and snow every day from Wednesday night through Friday night then the field favors CSD but if the field is dry and FH backs and edge rushers can plant their feet and get upfield then it favors FH.
I remember the 2017 loss to Dunbar in states I believe where Lawrence smith said that they had been watching film and designating 3” minutes of practice a week to the WING-T and to scouting FH because they knew they would end up meeting each other and he wanted to have them prepared. I feel like CSD was probably doing the same thing. They haven’t hid from the fact that they need to beat FH to win a title this year so something tells me they’ve been preparing for this rematch for 51 weeks straight.

Weatherman says rain on Wednesday, but clear skies and 50 degrees on Thur, Fri, Sat.
One thing stands out to me. Whenever FH has played CSD, whomever the CSD coach has been they've always said the same thing, "Fort Hill was much more physical. That's something we don't see on the Shore." I don't see why this year would be any different. Yes, FH wasn't at their best on the grass and rain last week, but I wonder how much they wanted to show CSD and anyone else scouting them?
Rain and snow here, but in Cambridge it's just calling for cloudy skies , but 15-25 mph winds with higher gusts possible. That's going to play havoc with the passing game and special teams.

Interesting disparity in that Calpreps says FH 27-19.
I think we all know that game against Clear Spring was really 55-12 with a TD and 2-pt conversion at the 4th quarter horn. CS scored 12 2nd quarter points. The wet field had a little effect on the line and perhaps the pass coverage there for a stretch. That was it. And CS didn't stop the FH ground attack once. Only the running clock did.
I watched highlights of CSD against Easton, their toughest game. They were up 27-0 in that game! Easton threw 5 picks (we all know FH isn't gifting the ball to them 5 times). CSD fumbled the ball away 5 times so I guess that's why the final was 27-24; I don't know as it was just highlights of CSD. It didn't appear Easton ran any sort of power running game or had any sort of powerful defense. I've heard Col. Richardson runs something similar to FH on offense. However, it ain't FH. I guess we'll see what's up on Friday night.

Clear Spring was struggling just as much on their own wet natural field. I don’t believe Fort Hill fumbled once (maybe a bad pitch that had nothing to do with the rain). If anything, rain hinders passing more than rushing but Clear Spring was blatantly holding almost every play and Fort Hill, if I am right, did not blitz one single play. They let their DB’s work on their own with no pressure of front. If Fort plays with attitude I predict 42-13. If they struggle to get started I say 35-20. CS-D has the athletes to score but CS-D only beat Col. Richardson 23-0 and then barely squeaked out a 14-7 win over them last week. Col. Richardson’s offense is all about misdirection and 3 yards and a cloud of whatever, but it is not similar to FH’s. Fort Hill has more sets, and more variations. Comparing the two I think is misleading.
is Fort Hill taking the team down Thursday night? Since the shutdowns, online class or “asynchronous” days are a reality. The players can take their Chromebooks and not miss much.
After Briar Woods Fort hill played 4 lousy teams and one not so bad. It might be wishful thinking but it's easy to not stay focused and do stupid stuff when you know you are cruising and it doesn't matter. If fH tried to run Jabril up the middle, to the right, to the left I don't see that working against the CSD line. I also don't see running east west with #5 from the right wing all the way across the field to get to the left perimeter working. If you want outside pitch it to your speedster and let him make a play. If FH tries to do that 40 yard pass crap instead of 5 yard passes to the backs they are going to find themselves getting sacked and turning it over. CSD is not one of the past five week teams, they are a lot better. If FH shows up all business and focused they can overcome a senior, experienced team because they do have the talent and coaching...fingers crossed.
Fans are nice, but FH needs an A.D.D. business trip. Arrive-Dominate-Depart.
Very true. This will be the first quality opponent since Briar Woods.
It's always difficult however to gauge Eastern Shore teams because they have not seen a quality opponent like Dunbar, Hollidaysburg or Briar Woods...well ever. Not sure how good or how bad they might be.
