I wanted to bring up the story on the Carpenter kid. In this day and age when the general philosophy is "it's all about me", this was truly inspiring and humbling as well. I'd bet that there aren't too many people out there who would willingly do what he did. Add to it that this was his senior year, and he was willing to give up part of his last season makes it even more meaningful. Big time kudoos to to him and his family, a great kid representing the area well.
