Good write up of the game. Seems like Dunbar made quite a few errors, fumbles, penalties, etc. The Douglass defense is too good not to take advantage of them. Dunbar coach Lawrence Smith seemed to sum it up when he stated the rain made his passing game falter - the Poets threw for 35 yards. But he didn't use it as an excuse, he is too classy for that. Sounds like the Douglass defense had a great deal to do with it as well.
I look for a low scoring game next week with two very sound defenses going at it.
