What an amazing performance by this young lady at the Fort Hill Invitational on Saturday. Allegany girls won decisively over the other 10 teams, but Miller not only won her four events, she dominated the field. Awesome performance.

Avery is the best female athlete that will ever come out of Allegany, possibly the best athlete ever all together.

Avery is the best female athlete that will ever come out of Allegany, possibly the best athlete ever all together.

Last night this young lady ran the 800 meters for the first time this season, and won by at least 100 meters, 16 seconds better than the next best time. Incredible. Four dominate 1st place finishes again.

Avery Miller strikes again 4 for 4. Four first place finishes in 1a state championships. 100m, 200m, 400m, and long jump. Mary Delaney of Mountain Ridge 3 individual first place finishes 800m, 1600m, 3200m, I believe setting state records in all 3, and a 2nd place finish in the 4x800 relay. Awesome performance ladies. Great representation of Allegany County.

I don’t know if it was mentioned, Avery is only a Sophomore. Also- Area player of the year in Soccer, first team all area in basketball.
