Allegany vs. Towson

I suspect Allegany handles Towson today by 3-4 TDs.

However, I've never heard the CBC sports team slurp up a win more than I've heard the last week with Allegany's win over Northern. Honestly, how far has Allegany football fallen if the radio team contiuously and repeatedly slurps up how awesome and perfect a game Allegany played against Northern????? I would expect Allegany to handle Northern by 5 TDs year in, year out if I'm an Allegany fan. To be so excited about beating Northern just shocks the hell out of me.

Why be consumed about other people from a different school enjoying a win? Why get a "shocks the hell" from people enjoying the sports from their school? Is it because you are totally incapable of a "shocks the hell" from the mistreatment of Allegany radio folk in this forum.

Panties in a wad much? So, you're telling me that you are overly excited that Allegany outperformed Northern and that is something to rave about????? Wow, Allegany truly has fallen from grace. Shame. I wouldn't be beating my chest about defeating Northern. It's a win that should be expected from the Allegany faithful. Not something that should come as a surprise that they performed well. That'd be like FH folk coming on here and beating their chest about pounding Mtn. Ridge last night. Yeesh. I think Allegany folk used to expect to defeat Northern soundly and perform well.

For the record, you won't find any posts where I commented about the Top 50 of Coach Gilmore. That is a wonderful idea and I've enjoyed the list. Seen some names of folks I know on the list. Shannon Stevens was hands-down, bar-none the best defensive player I've ever seen in this area.

By the way, nor do I want to know what "I'm an Allegany fan" means. It's a sad state of affairs in that part of town these days. Look at the stadium on any home game. Not sure there are that many fans out there anymore. How many fans will show up next week?

But you sure as hell felt motivated to criticize Allegany fans for having some exuberance. Panties in a wad? Call it what you will. Really pissed is probably better. All but one FH fan are guilty by omission of driving the Allegany radio station out of this forum. You all can't stand anybody but you enjoying what little success they have.

I liked this forum much better when Cumberland had two successful high school football programs, which wasn't all that long ago. For everything that local radio does for high school football in this area, to drive them from this forum is shameful. If Allegany fans and radio broadcasters want to boast and beat their chests about beating Northern, so be it then. Good luck next week.

Thats a valid point about the current disparity between the two teams. FH is up...Alco is down. And it shows in the type of conversation. The win over Northern IS a big win when the Campers are competing with them for a playoff spot. In years past the game was not as significant to the post-season as it is this year.

That's all I wanted from the FH folks. But it should have happened while the thread was still here.
Magic100 had started to post as a lead up to Homecoming - adding real class from the Gilmores.
Since there is no indication that they will not receive the same mistreatment, I doubt they will be back.
That is why I am angry.

So Alco being a playoff team is what you call unsuccessful??? The only people I keep hearing talk about Alco's win over Northern is FH fans...

Red ppl said Northern game was going to be tough, red ppl said silver oak was going to beat Alco. Alco supporters werent worried. Quite frankly Allegany is not worried aboug FH
