Allegany 49 at Keyser 14 FINAL

Alco and Keyser have traded first quarter touchdowns. Both also have touchdowns. Score tied 7-7 at the end of the first quarter.

Alco RB takes the ball off right tackle and carries defenders for 4 yards and a Camper touchdown on fourth and goal. Extra point is good. 14-7 Campers early in 2nd quarter.

Campers get another touchdown. They are running all over Keyser. Extra point was no good. 20-7 Campers with 5:24 to go in the first half.

Keyser gets deep inside Camper territory with the aid of penalties, but the defense holds on a fourth down play and Alco keeps it 20-7 lead.

Campers score on their first drive of the second half. They add the two-point conversion. 28-7 Campers with 7:09 to go in the third quarter.

Campers and Tornado trade scores. Alco one came first. 35-14 Allegany with 1:23 to go in the third quarter.

Keyser tried onside kick following their score. They were unsuccessful. Alco ball.

I was really too busy listening to the end of the Mountain Ridge/Northern game to hear what Allegany ended up with rushing on the game. It had to be over 400 yards. Their rushing attack is amazing. Probably one of the better 2-4 teams heading into the night in the state.

Alco rushed for 508 yards. the offense line has been creating space, now to see if they can do it next week against Northern

My God what has happened to the Tornadoes? This has to be a total embarrassment to those die hard fans that used to pride themselves on competing with Cumberland schools, especially in Keyser.

Keyser has been on a downward spiral for the last few years, and the injury bug hasn't helped them. Unfortunately, I don't know how they can turn this around, but I hope that they do at some point. I miss the old Keyser. I'd like to see Alco throw the ball, but with a very young QB, I like the "crawl, walk, run" philosophy the coaches are employing with this team.

Keyser has completely fallen off a cliff since biser left. Good coaches and good systems matter no matter how good or bad the players are
