I am listening on the radio. What the hell just happened before halftime. The radio guy's are making it sound like the refs haven't a clue.

Something about Alco calling a time out, but they didn't have any left, so the refs throw a flag ( I thought they said for delay of game), and then put time back on the clock.

The radio guy's just clarified that the penalty was for an illegal man down field and there was a mixup between the refs and time keeper. Thus allowing the refs to restart the clock with 7 seconds left and allowing Alco's field goal team to get on the field. Although they are saying they thought the field goal was no good.
