2022 Pickem Contest Results

I want to start out by saying that I apologize for not being as on top of it as I would have liked to be in the past few months. My Mom was sick and passed about just over a week ago. This hampered my ability to participate in the contest several weeks this year, and it forced me to be late on posting the picks each week.

With that being said, I did want to share the results for Week #8, Week #9 and the final results, and congratulate loco09 for winning this year's contest. It came down to the last week of the regular season, and that week caused a lot of havoc for everyone except loco09, which allowed him to overcome his/her one game deficit and overtake CrickRat23 for the Championship.

A couple interesting points from the past two weeks of picking...

1.) Everyone who picked high school games in Week #8 all picked those games correctly. That is the first time I can ever remembering that happen
2.) Week #9 is what determined who won, there were a lot of games in high school that were picked incorrectly
3.) Week #8 saw the most amount of people finish with just one loss EVER
4.) The Commanders and WV teams decided who won in the last week of the season

Thank you for everyone who participated this year. I hope to do it again next year, and hopefully it will go a lot smoother with no distraction
