I'm not trying to start anything, this is an honest question. Don't be surprised if it happens. Here are a few bullet points to consider:

** Keyser folks have made clear their desire to see how they stack up against their WV playoff competition

** These WV playoff contenders include teams such as Bridgeport, RCB, and perhaps Fairmont Sr., basically North-Central WV teams..

** Bridgeport, RCB, Fairmont Sr., an an example, are very, very good and capable of beating Keyser

** West Virginia just reclassified teams and AA has picked up 9 new teams, some very good quality

** Because of numbers, it's now more difficult to make the playoffs, with 8 wins most likely needed

** It is likely that it may take 9 wins to gaurantee a home playoff game

** Keyser's schedule this year included 2 back to back state champions and a total of 5 playoff teams

** 1 of the teams that didn't make the playoffs was the state runner-up the previous year

** 1 of the teams that didn't make the playoffs almost did, for the first time in a million years

** 1 of the teams that didn't make the playoffs was a AAA rival that actually beat Keyser

** Most importantly, after the playoff loss to Fairmont Sr., Biser said on the radio that as the result of the re-classifications, they would have to re-examine their schedule. He further stated that this would include traditional opponents (FORT HILL and ALLEGANY) and some of the newer opponents they've picked up recently (BRIDGEPORT and RCB).

** Keyser will not drop Allegany because it is theirs and the areas longest rivalry and almost a gauranteed win

** It may be possible they drop Bridgeport or RCB, but they are real big on promoting a big WV reputation

** They may have beat Fort Hill 2 of the last 4 years, but they know traditionally, they haven't fared well against the Big Red, their all-time record against Fort HIll is beyond deplorable

** When they beat Fort Hill this year, they literally threw a FIretruck Parade escort through town, what does this tell you about what they think about playing Fort Hill

** While it's been oft stated that the two programs and coaching staffs respect one another, the two fan bases tend to disrespect one another greatly.

** Don't think for a minute that Keyser in any way feels they owe Fort Hill anything or have any responsibility or obligation to help Fort Hill fill a schedule

** Keyser always has the "Frankfort doesn't play Fort Hill" argument

** Keyser has dropped Fort Hill for an extended period before

** Fort Hill is loaded, absolutely loaded for the next couple of years, Keyser is thought to be down

There you have it, I always thought it a possibility, but when Biser mentioned it in the post-game radio interview, mentioned taking another look at the schedule, and specifically stated you would probably need 9 wins to get a home playoff game, it certainly perked my ears up. I could be totally wrong, they may opt to get rid of Bridgeport instead, either way, I don't think they play both Bridgeport and Fort Hill again in the same year. It's just my opinion, but many signs are pointing that way. I don't think they've made their mind up yet, honestly, the season just ended, I'm just saying if you're Todd Helmick don't be surprised if you get the call and have to look for another game to fill. As I said, maybe they drop Bridgeport, opinions?

Keyser is FH's new Alco... We need em on the schedule. They are the only local team that they are trading wins with. I just hate playing them so early in the season! But then again, it caused early changes for the better...
