do the cheerleaders in this area get in line to shake hands with the football team after the game? Outside of this area, schools don’t do it.
It’s weird. And unnecessary.

I will second the opinion that cheerleaders shaking hands with the opposing football players is weird. Why in the world did this even start?

From the cheerleaders???
No. LOL
But if I was 17 years old again I would have no complaints shaking hands with cheerleaders. Not sure why meeting new people and shaking their hands is an issue but to each his own. Wish more people in the world would shake hands.

Todd...Since we're asking why, when did you change to plastic bottles? Got a Paw Paw at Mill Stone the other day and realized the switch. Had it been that long since i had one? It was a glass bottle last time.

Agree. Shaking hands after playing a game is great for the players. Who knows… Maybe the band should line up too…

"I see friends shaking hands, saying, How do you do?
They're really saying, I love you
I hear babies cry, I watch them grow
They'll learn much more
Than I'll ever know
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world"

A company should just make a Hudl type app where you pick up your cell phone soon as the game ends and digitally acknowledge each other. It's where the world is, no need for social interactions.

It's a fair question. Do we really need the National Anthem before games? Why? If the National Anthem is that important why is it only played before sporting events? I don't hear it on radio or TV, not before school, not before your work shift kicks in, not before church or before movies or plays or concerts, funerals, weddings, etc., etc. Think about that. It's more about sporting event tradition than honor. Silly really. Values have been altered as years pass. Moving away from social interaction as much as possible isn't my recommendation. Just stare at your cell works for many.

Now you’ve gone to far🤣

The handshake app would be ok, but some of us would rather Dap. Now that would be something!

(Do they still call it that?)
