You are probably right Lag. I removed it. But it's already copy and pasted out their in cyberspace not by me. Since this is local yocal high school football, sense of humor is out the window.
But in regards to what I think about your reply...every team in the area is playing Alco and Mountain Ridge. But they won't play FH. I already deal with Karma. My reply...what are people going to do, not play FH anymore? You want to talk about treating kids and people right and karma?

It's not good and I really don't want involved. Better things to do. It's sad people can't realize these are kids we are dealing with.

You have an unbelievable ride going. I am one hoping for your continued success. Can't wait to see the championship game again this year.
But you have hit a wall as challenging as the games themselves. Win another championship and scheduling will get even more difficult. You will have to load up on private schools, travel more or maybe even not fill a schedule.

I just enjoy helping kids no matter where they go to school. That's all.
But also understand I have to help do something now. FH can no longer continue to turn the other cheek. The options being discussed are not good. But the alternative of doing nothing is far worse. So if the reaction sounds harsh, deal with it. It will involve kids and if this Top 25 list seems offensive I recommend you don't bother to follow this issue.

The top 25 list didn't bother me personally. Believe it or not, I was concerned about you and the program. I was trying to be as outrageous as possible so you would pull it. That is why I asked if someone had hacked your account. I was trying to say the post wasn't you.
If If I hated FH and wanted to get back at you I would have let it stand and let all the fanboys around here jump in and agree with it. Then, in a few hours or so I would jump in.
Look, this isn't an issue of turning the other cheek. This is an issue of just doing the best you can do with pride and dignity and let your destiny be recorded as such.
Dude post it. I'm tired of FH and County admins having no spine. Who cares what others think because everyone hates FH already. Nobody around here will play FH so what are they going to do? Not play FH again?

I think Helmick understands something that goes right over your head. But please, start a thread with it. I deleted my copy. If you think I hate FH so much, why didn't I start another thread with it after suggesting he remove his name from it. I only wanted it out from under his banner.
I don't blame Keyser for dropping FH, I don't blame any of the Local Schools like Southern,Northern,Keyser or Frankfort for not playing them. They have the same thing in front of them,they are trying to make the playoffs.
The only thing playing FH does for these schools is make them money every other year and give them an automatic loss most of the time 95% of the time.
I also know that FH and Alco both are going to have trouble getting 1A or 2A size schools all the time so they may have to play bigger schools in the end, I for one wish they would forget about the whole Allegany High thing and make it The Middle School and make the High School Cumberland City High in the (Fort Hill Building) build on if ya have to, local football has died in the thinking of playing other local area schools.
first it was Hampshire, then Frankfort,Then Southern and now Keyser, the difference is those schools are easily finding schools to play every year. FH and Alco are going to have to keep playing PA schools unless they decide to do 2 year deals with schools around the Frederick area like Middletown,Damascus and maybe even beg Martinsburg to get back on the schedule and trek west to Play Bridgeport,Morgantown,Steubenville and teams like that.
Now I will tell you the flip side, The Cumberland Pee Wee League and Youth leagues used to be in cumberland and now all these leagues are run by outsiders (not Cumberland people) and all they have to do is stop helping these other area's and force their hand. What good does it do the Cumberland kids to play them when they are young and in High School?
Remember years ago Berkeley Springs got in the Local pee wee league, Football grew there, those kids grew up and beat Allegany, now they are no longer in the league because our Locals helped them along to get started and then say See ya.............

If was an Allegany fan, I really would not be concerned with who will not play Fort Hill, but I would look at who does not play Fort Hill but continues to play Allegany.

If FH wants another team to beat 100-0 I can find it. I've always found 10 games and will continue to do so.
What gets lost in the arguments
Money is the biggest story here and what most posters don't understand. That is something the County BOE has to address. And it will be addressed. If Allegany County can step up and tell Keyser either play all 3 schools or none, their will be no choice in the matter. Keyser cannot afford to find 3 new games a year. The Greenway and Mountain Ridge turf needs replaced. School athletic budgets are over $70K in the hole. Cheerleaders and bands can't be bused to games. Uniforms are paid for by each program now. Fees from parents to play sports is coming very soon. Either do something or stop complaining about money. FH and Keyser was the biggest gate for either school. That's the worst part. Otherwise give me a large sum of cash and FH can drop Mountain Ridge and Alco and I can replace them. Not that anyone would want that, just making an example.

Why not add Garrett County schools and force Northern and Southern to play you. That way you could avoid looking spiteful and help fill your schedule with less driving. Or is it just okay to strong arm West Virginia.
Or, make it for all out of state schools both PA and WV so Allegany can get some of that guaranteed cheap FH meat they're hording.
Yet still, I wonder if a 'force to play' idea shouldn't be run by the local Cumberland businesses first. Anything done primarily to put money in the pocket of a single Cumberland school, while inflicting a beating on out of state athletes like Keyser and CR, might not set too well with their parents who shop the city.

Just heard Today while in PA that Chestnut Ridge will join Laurel Highlands and they won't be playing Alco next season.
Maybe they figure that after losing a significant number of seniors they don't want to come to Greenway and take a loss. Unfortunate, but understandable.
That's absolutely correct, so not a surprise really. Well, except for the fact they just beat Allegany. Maybe they didn't even like being almost tied at the half... or they just found a real easy opponent.
In fact, I was at a FH game when they were playing CR. Great game. It was, I think, when CR had the big quarterback. CR kept it close at the half. It was a very competitive. But somewhere around a year or so they dropped FH. It didn't seem reasonable.
