After this fridays match up. I seen something about next Friday night there will be a game? How is that when you only have 2 teams left?

Two teams from each region at the end of this week, into the quarterfinals reseeded. Then 4 teams left into the semifinals, reseeded. Then the finals. 3 more weeks left after this frifay.

Both of the next two weeks after this will be home games for FH and MR if they win.

I've had to answer the question about next week's playoffs at least 8 times today, which is not surprising every year given the MPSSAA set up. It can be confusing.

After the second round of playoffs is completed this weekend there will be 8 teams left. The MPSSAA takes those remaining 8 teams and puts them in one big group and seeds them 1-8 based on their regular season point totals. Then ...
#1 seed plays #8 seed
#2 seed plays #7 seed
#3 seed plays #6 seed
#4 seed plays #5 seed

As an example, I used CalPreps to predict the winner of each game this weekend. This is what next weekend (round 3) would look like using those teams.

Bohemia Manor at Mountain Ridge
Perryville at Fort Hill
Lake Clifton at Joppatowne
Forest Park at Brunswick

I would say Joppatowne, followed closely by Patterson Mill, and Allegany.

A quick question for you. You were mentioning FH's schedule in another thread that I can't seem to find again, but why won't Musselman, Hedgesville, Jefferson play FH but they will play Martinsburg? M'burg killed all of them again this year. If I'm one of those schools I'd replace M'burg with FH any day of the week. Is this a league thing?

They are all in Berkeley/Jefferson County league and mandated to play each other like we do in Allegany/Garrett County now.
