Don't sell Surrattsville short. They do have a 2000 yard rusher on the team. As far as PG County goes, they do have 12 4A teams, but they also have 1 3A, 5 2A, and 4 1A schools in the county. I'll agree that the talent level on some of the teams really isn't there but those teams playing a PG County schedule, coming out of that region, are battle tested. PG County plays a fast paced, smash mouth, in your face game. They may be taken back a little by the size of the crowd, but they won't be overwhelmed by the play on the field.
With that said, I have watched some of the films on Surrattsville. I think that their back is a real threat. I didn't see many passes but when they did pass, # 24 seems to catch everything. He is small (130 lbs). The QB doesn't throw a great ball, but he gets it to his guys. FH's big advantage this year will again be the line play. They aren't as big as FH. They fire off the line, but I didn't see them knocking people off the line of scrimmage. They'll open a hole more or less by getting between the defender and their back and then let their back work his magic. On D, they have some studs, but as a team they really don't fly to the ball. If FH blocks their playmakers, 40 points is not out of the question.
This is the second year in a row that Surrattsville has made it this far. A few years ago, they were everyone's doormat. Their staff has them heading in the right direction, One breakout game will put them over, FH needs to ensure that they aren't part of that game.
