I'm saying that this game is going to be closer than most think. Fort Hill needs to have their heads into the game when they come out. Of course Alco may fold up because they fall behind, which would lead to a blow out.
I've seen FH's D look great, and then I've seen them look less than motivated. I can say the same for Alco. At times they tackle great, but at other times I'm wondering if they are still practicing.

I really dont see a team that has won 3 straight titles come into this game not motivated. They will take care of business, if they need to step it up a notch they will! I seen them rise to the occasion at South High when the backs were sorta against the wall. If the QB has the game on both sides of the ball as he has been having, it will be a long day for the campers!
Alco scored 2 offensive TD's against Northern and you think they will put up 35 against FH. I know Md legalized it but come on.
I think you are the only one besides me who has brought up the point that you need to consider 9 games that each have played, and nobody is scoring those kind of points on either team. This game is always a defensive struggle when both teams are good. Allegany is giving up 4 points a game, where is FH going to find 5 scoring drives as most people are prediciting? Fort Hill's d is more susceptible to big plays than long drives and alco is not a big play offense as much as they are a pound and grind. If they are successful it would take most of a quarter for one drive..that takes the ball out of fh's hands and points become much harder. If they can't move the ball then FH could be more productive, but if they get ahead you know they are going to get more conservative than normal because it's that kind of game. I will be the first one to admit I was wrong if it happens but I just don't see many points being scored.
Not making any score predictions, but will say this. If Blue plays against Red like they did against Northern, I believe it could be a long day for them. Just my opinion ......
I'll go with you because I ain't picking against Alco. This Camper team is light-years better than I thought they would be. I believe this team is every bit as good as FH in all positions with the exception of FH's Line. In football, that's enough. In fact, it's more that enough.
The score of the game will depend on how much Alco's Line can muscle up and how long they can hold up. If Allegany can play their best game to date while creating some seams for Robinette - this will be a great contest.
As I posted last year, I would be happy with a homecoming win for Alco and another championship for FH.

Allegany not having to play 4 full quarters all season showed today. They were wore down.

It was a mismatch, Graves lofted it up and let Brown go get it. Wise decision.
How good Alco played in the first half is forgotten by the low numbers in the second, but that first half was fun. #4 and 25 for Alco ran really well. And the two double pass plays were both just a hair short from being TDs. I thought the passing game would be a big weapon for Alco, but I didnt think it would be passes from the receivers.

I hope Allegany comes out ready to play Saturday. They put 4 quarters in like they played the first in homecoming, they will send Boonsboro packing, which I hope they do. According to people i have talked to in hagerstown area, they are saying this is the best year they have a shot at making it out of the region to the semis, I beg to defer.
The few Boonsboro folks I know are seriously believing this is the year they travel to Cumberland and beat both schools. Keep in mind they said the same last year. But Alco can't afford to be emotionally drained through Saturday and commit mistakes.
I'd prefer Boonsboro to win just to see a new team play FH (and watch the ugliness and the talking be silenced) but with a Neutral opinion, I'd like to see Alco win to give FH a tougher game
The FH Alco rematch is not for sure win for FH. Next game will be much tougher. I hope FH wins and think they should but is not a given.

Boonsnoro says best team they've had very good. One loss coming to a always solid Middletown Team.
