Ratsville: 7 penalties in 1st half

I believe 5 of those penalties were the 5-yard variety on the offense. Either false start or lining up in the neutral zone before the snap. Sitting on the visitors side I could hear their coach up on the press box roof screaming at the officials. But what is an official to do when an offense is committing 5 yard penalties before the snap?
FH had two TDs called back on a weak hold behind the play on a Ty TD run...and calling Ty out of bounds on a TD run that no one saw him step out of bounds on. So they can thank the refs too.
Surratsville had two consecutive offsides calls on a PAT. You cant not call those. Yeah the Hornet coach up top was complaining about the officiating from the get go. A Late hit and offsides and false starts are no brainers. But regardless...they played a clean game.
What bothered me is after the game some Surratsville staff complained that FH should have taken a knee to end the game. They were only up by nine points...theyre in the playoffs...still trying to get some reps for next week. Overall the game was well played...the sour grapes from the coaches after the game was unfortunate. They arent even local refs. Ah well. Bygones. On to the Bank.

He should be thanking the refs they got what they got! Major is good and didnt need the help from them at all! One plays Shives #12 beat his man right away, had major squared up in the hole and another lineman literally tackled him in his back in front of the back official and a no call! Every edge run ratsville ran their tackles were ripping jersey as FH lineman stopped to fill in their lanes! If the refs called s@it right it'd wouldve been worse. Classless man smfh
I posted in the prediction thread that they'd have over 8 penalties because they were undisciplined - and was called a racist. However, if you watch any of the DC League or Baltimore League teams, it is like the CFL many times in that they get a moving start before the ball is snapped...and seldom called.
Much like in basketball where the players are given an extra step or else there would be nothing but penalties and foul shots all night.

Someone said they seen the video of Ty's td that was called back and it wasnt even close for him steppin out of bounds. I believe the same ref threw the flag for holding. If anyone had a gripe, I think it was us. It is a shame refs take the game in their own hands. Washington co. Refs have never been very good. People complain about our board but I think they do a good job.
