Hopefully, I was more or less stating the fact of the Wilson coach parading around the sideline as Wilson did work on FH's 2's/3's. not taking anything away from those kids (FH's)but his actions irked me the wrong way

Tuscarora is good, North Point is OK, Northwood is abysmal. I expect FH to look oustanding vs all 3 teams.

I'd venture to say North Point and Tuscarora are on par with each other. Both will present some challenges to get FH ready for the season. Don't even know where Northwood is from. If it's the team from Moco County that I'm thinking of, yes they're bad lol. Just hopeful all 4 teams run into no issues and ready for football again

Woodlawn in the other scrimmage will bring some speed and athleticism as well, but I expect FH to handle them fairy easily depending how well FH new O-line gels

From the what it's worth department:

This might be the case in recent years, but the '75 semi-final game between FHHS and Northwood was one of the most exciting games in the history of FH football. FH won in double OT by a score of 33-27. If my memory is correct, FH was down 14-0 at halftime. Northwood had two exceptional tough running backs - Weinstein and Bernstein. One of the two went out with a broken leg early in the second half.

Yeah Northwood is in a tough spot. They are in a Consortium with 4 other schools, where kids in those areas can choose where they want to attend. Not just athletically but academically also. Northwood is losing both battles. They do produce some good athletes, but they typically dont stick around. Not to mention the turnover with Head Coaches (3 in the past 4 years).

Yep, Northwood was really good in the mid 70's to the early 80's (reached 2 state finals). But since they reopened in 2006, its been really tough keeping the good athletes they had from transferring to other schools.

I was at that game ... probably one of FH's best ever. Northwood pounded Fort Hill the year before .....
