How did the high school football season go overall?
“The football season was very fun and probably my favorite season of all time. I would also love to thank the seniors and parents who helped us so truly and great during the season. This was the last year and many won’t even play football in college. I just want to say they made this season fun and they’re the reason I love this game.
What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“I lift every Tuesday and Thursday and I also have a personal trainer who works on footwork, form and diet. She’s the best personal trainer in the game.”
What are you trying to improve on the most as a player?
“I’m trying to get faster and stronger as the day goes on and make sure I’m loose for next season.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I feel like we will be a top tier team and really work and grind this offseason. We’ve fell short two years in a row and it’s my final season, so I know this is what I’ve worked on for all year. I’m trying my hardest to simply get some hardware for back home.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule next season?
“Last year no one could stop us, but there is very good competition in the SMAC and every game someone could possibly smack us in the mouth and take a run for our money. Last season, we still are trying to get better every single day.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I’m more of a single sport guy. I mainly play football and I would love to play football in college, but I put academics over lifting and football. I am trying my best in the one sport I can.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“Not many. We’ve had a couple of big schools pass by here and there and I’ve had a few follow me on twitter. This recruiting process is very stressful, and I know my hard work and dedication is going to be helpful in the end.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“No, but it seems like a good time and I am hoping to get many this next and last offseason of my career.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“My favorite college growing up was Maryland because you got to stay in the hometown, but since I was a growing up, I loved UNC. I really want a college to change my mind and make their school my favorite.”
