“The preparation for this season has been great. We’ve been working hard in the weight room and really coming together as a team more and more each practice.”
What are your goals for the season?
“My goals for this season are to improve at the various positions I play and do whatever I can to help my team win a state championship.”
What areas do you feel your team needs to improve on?
“My team always looks to improve in all areas of the field.”
Who is your opponent in the season opener and how do you feel about them overall?
“Our opponent for the season opener is Oxon Hill High School. I feel like they are a good team and playing them will be a real test. I do feel like our team is preparing well and we will come out on top.”
Who do you feel is the toughest individual player you will play against this season?
“I look at every player I play against as tough. Every opponent gets the same respect.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I am being recruited by Syracuse, William & Mary, Howard, Elon, and UPenn.”
Have any colleges offered you?
“Howard offered me in April of 2018.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have been on unofficial visits to Duke, University of Maryland, JMU, and UPenn.”
Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“I plan on making trips to UNC Chapel Hill, NC A&T, Stony Brook, and whoever else invites me.”
What camps did you do this summer and how did they go?
“This summer I camped at Kennesaw State, Syracuse, William & Mary, Howard, and I also participated in the HBCU Mega Camp.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“My favorite college has been Duke since I was a little kid. I’ve always aspired to go there.”
