How did the high school football season go overall?
“This high school season went very well. This was the best record for varsity that we have had for a couple of years.”
What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“Sports wise, I will definitely be doing outdoor track again. I had a great time last year and I’m excited to run again. I’ll be steady working out in the field in my neighborhood, Scotland. I grew up playing ball there and it’s always been a place I can go to clear my mind and focus on myself. I’ll be in the weight room most definitely.”
What are you trying to improve on the most as a player?
“I want to improve my ability to uplift my teammates and help show them that there aren’t any limitations in life. If they have a goal that they want to achieve, I urge them to dig deep into their why and then use that focus into achieving their goals.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“My guys and I are going to do well. We all know how to handle business and are a group of hard workers.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule next season?
“QO is the only team somewhat on my radar. I’m expecting an exciting game out of them. It is great comp.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I don’t just want to just play football in college, I need to. That’s is all part of the plan. I am going to give my dad the peace of mind he deserves. Growing up with one parent and three siblings put a chip on my shoulder that I need the world to feel.
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“As far as college recruitment goes, I don’t like to speak on it because I’ve never been one to tell my business until it’s set in stone.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I’ve only had one visit and they were extremely kind, and it felt like family. I keep to myself around new people. I’m usually not the most talkative, but I immediately got a great sense of comfort and it just felt like I was home.”
Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“My favorite college growing up is and was Syracuse.”
