“I've been throwing with our receivers a lot during the off-season and have worked on my speed/strength.”
What do you feel you have improved on most since last football season?
“I have improved on my arm strength, speed, and agility the most over the off-season.”
What are you trying to improve on before the football season begins?
“I want to gain more weight for the season and improve my strength in general.”
How do you feel your team will do this football season?
“I feel very confident in our team’s ability this season. We've got great coaches and great players that work hard every day to get better at our craft.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“To be totally honest, every team we face is a faceless opponent and we just focus on getting better at the stuff we do.”
Who is your opponent in the season opener and how do you feel about them overall?
“We face North Point week one. They are a great team and it's going to be great to be able to compete against them.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I want to play football in college.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“As of right now, Cornell is truly the only team that has shown serious interest in me.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“Cornell.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have been to Cornell, Maryland, UNC-Charlotte, Wake Forest, and NC State.”
Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“No, right now I'm just trying to get mentally and physically fit for the season.”
What camps did you do this summer and how did they go?
“I did camps at Cornell, Maryland, UNC Charlotte, Wake Forest, NC State, SEN camp, and Bowie State. Overall, I performed very well at the camps and thought I was consistent with my throws and went through the drills very well, including a 4.7 40-yard dash.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Growing up, Auburn was my favorite college. I love the way they run their offense.”
