How did the high school football season go overall?
“The season went decent. We had a lot of ups and downs, made some good plays, and made some mistakes. I had a lot of tackles, one sack, and I pressured the quarterback a lot. I honestly could’ve had a better season this year but it is just a lesson for me to get better and work 100 times harder in the offseason so I can have a standout season for my junior year to get my name on the radar.”
What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“I am just going to work on my craft. I’ll work on my speed and agility, my get off and pass rushing, my hands, and to get in shape, be more explosive, and to get stronger as a defensive end. Also, I’m working on mobility to prevent injuries for next season. I lift 5 days a week, and also, I’m working on putting on more muscle the correct way which is about 25 pounds of muscle. I am basically working to get my weight from 220 to 245 for next year.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I am confident that we will bounce back from a bad season. We just all need to push each other and get better as a team so we’ll be ready for next season.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule next season?
“I am not sure who we are playing yet. I will find out later in the summer.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I want to play college football in the division 1 level.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“No colleges have recruited me yet as I’m not on the radar yet. I have talked to some coaches such as Towson, Hampton, and others. Hopefully I will be recruited by d1 schools next season and hopefully in the spring/summer when I go to college camps. That’s the main goal. I’m just going to do my thing on the field, and everything will fall into place. It’s all in God’s Plan.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“Not yet. I am planning to visit a few schools in the spring and summer.”
Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“Yes.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“I always been a Florida State fan. I also have liked University of Miami too. My father played for the Hurricanes back then when they were National Champions and I also like LSU too.”
